Overall Thoughts
The EXIT box finds you locked in an abandoned throne room, slowly exploring more rooms of the castle. This box has an added element in that the decoder disk has a series of key parts, in order to use the disk you have to first figure out how to decode each key part into its corresponding number. This probably hindered us the most and took us quite some time to figure it out.
Once we had decoded each of the key parts we were then able to make quick progress through the other puzzles, the added element of decoding the numbers slowed down the progress of each puzzle but made solving each one more satisfying.
Upon starting this game you have access to the full puzzle book allowing you to explore all of the contents of the castle. The puzzles in this game ranged from directional puzzles to tactile and visual puzzles. Without spoiling anything there is a puzzle in this game that offers you a choice and your decision will affect which puzzle you do next, you won't do both puzzles it will be one or the other.
Overall the beginning of this game is difficult but the general gameplay after this is easier and enjoyable. the game flows seamlessly between puzzles and there is a solid path to follow throughout.
