TLDR - A solid virtual alternative to the EXIT tabletop games with enjoyable out of the box thinking and big 'aha' moments.

Overall Thoughts
I was browsing through the steam summer sale when I found that EXIT also do video games, being a huge fan of the EXIT boxes I thought I'd give it a try and Curse of Ophir did not disappoint.
Firstly the hand-drawn art style for this game is simple but stunning. The puzzles fit the theming perfectly and help to progress the narrative. Throughout the game you acquire varies different tools to help you with the puzzles such as a pen and lighter. As well as other items you collect in your inventory for which the UI is simple but intuitive.
As you progress through the game there are a large variety of puzzles some of which more difficult than others. As with all EXIT games there's a lot of out of the box thinking and big aha moments, which makes the game super satisfying to play. There were unfortunately 2 instances where I tried to input what I believed was the correct solution for the game to not register it as correct until a few attempts later. Having to then use hints to make sure I had the correct solution before continuing to try input the answer. Although frustrating I wouldn't say this took away much enjoyment from the game. The game lasted about 2 hours for me, although it could certainly be done faster.
Overall the game is satisfying to play and gives me a virtual version of my EXIT fix, but I still prefer the tactile nature of the tabletop boxes. Saying this a few of the more unrealistic elements in the game did add to the enjoyment, which you couldn't do in real life.
