Overall Thoughts

This room was unlike anything I'd ever done before and though it was not strictly speaking "an escape room" it did have an escape room element at the end.

We were greeted by John (The Owner) and immediately felt welcome, you could certainly tell just how passionate John was about the games and escape rooms in general. The safety briefing was kept short but humourful. John explained that the room we had booked was not a "normal" escape room but a set of minigames to earn clue orbs to then help us in the final Diamond Mine mini escape.

With 10 challenges to complete in 30 minutes you'll fin a mix of observation, building, decoding, target shooting and more. Each challenge was played with 1 or 2 of our team, saying this the other team member can watch and offer assistance from outside of the challenge area. Each of the mini game were individually themed and offered incredibly creative and unique puzzles / challenges. I'd personally say 3 to 4 players is optimal for the amount of challenges you each get to play.

Following collecting all of the clue orbs with time to spare we were taken to the final room, the diamond mine. In which you have to find a multitude of diamonds before your oxygen supply runs out. This element ran very similar to your usual escape room, with the clue orbs you earned allowing you to access help should you need it. Fortunately we smashed through the puzzles without a clue used.

Although this wasn't a conventional escape game it was a welcomed change from the norm. Intense but fun from the beginning, I'd highly recommend this game to anyone in the area.

Can't wait to go back to play through their other rooms!
